  • BOOKING FEES (Irritating but necessary) Please click here to read

We know that booking fees are irritating, but sadly they are necessary, and here is why....

The festival is organised by a goup of volunteers.  We have chosen Skiddle as our ticket agency because it has an excellent reputation. In short, it works.

Why didn't we just include these in the price?

By separating the money raised to support Motor Neurone Disease from the ticketing fees it provides transparency so you can see exactly what is going to Skiddle.

The Causes

In aid of MND

Beer & Bubbles Festival is raising funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and All About Alie.

This event is being organised by a committee of local people who have all been affected by Motor Neurone Disease.

All About Alie

AAA was set up by Alie Tilley who was a live events producer working on everything from Motor Shows to the Pope's visit. Alie died in May 2016 having suffered the cruelty of Motor Neurone Disease. Alie, never being one to sit down and feel sorry for herself, decided she would set up a fund raising committee to directly finance some of Professor Talbot’s great work, and every penny would go to stem cell research. AAA was set up on the 24th of February 2016 and has so far raised more than £110,000 to find a cure for MND.

The MND Association

The Motor Neurone Disease Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland focused on MND care, research and campaigning. There are  over 7,000 active volunteers and around 170 paid staff, all dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by MND, now and in the future. Funds raised from our festival will be donated to the East Surrey branch of the MND Association, which helps people living with MND and their families in the local area with grants, supply of equipment, care, etc. The branch also regularly sends funds to the national MND Association to support other activities including, importantly, much-needed research projects.
